WRAL Weather App Reviews

The updates for this app used to be an improvement, so I didnt bother to save an old version file on my computer. Now Im stuck with an app that wont work. At all. I can get only a part of the current weather screen. Can I get the last version until a more backwards compatible app is released? (Im stuck in iOS6.)

Has many features. Live icontrolradar in my area works faster and better than other weather apps plus I can navigate. Its alert center notifies you of any storms nearby and their bti. You can add multiple cities as well. Well made . 5 stars

Where is the sound? Most of the alerts are silent.

I believe the title says it all. The app is absolutely no help whatsoever. Dont waste your time downloading it.

This is by far the worst weather app I have ever used. It is so bad I wouldnt give it one star. It has to be rated therefore I gave it one star. This review is of the latest version and it is worse than previous versions. I will keep posting reviews on what I call the worst weather app in the App Store. WRAL, I expected much better from you. The weather app that comes with the iPhone is far superior and thats not saying much.

I shouldnt have to turn my ringer on in order to hear video sound. I turn my ringer off so Im not disturbed with other noise while watching video. This is the only app I have that does this and its STUPID.

I am deleting this. Its awful. They really should update more and not make a fool of themselves. Their are so many better apps out there that will do everything and beyond what this app gives with accurate info. What a joke. I will also not ever watch wral as far as news goes at this point because if you cant update an app at a reasonable time how can I count on you for news. I will spread the word as well. What an epic failure.

All of the bad reviews of this app have no credibility because they dont have reasons to dislike the app. I think this is really all you would want in a weather app.

The iControl radar is very glitchy. When it works it works great and when it doesnt it hardly works at all.

When you click "forecast details" it gives you weather from over a week ago. Not actually helpful.

Love the WRAL team! First off, theyre great. Unfortunately, this app is not nearly as good as it should be. But I think it could be much better with a few changes and updates. Here are a few suggestions as to what I think needs to improve: 1. Support for the native screen resolution of iPhone 6/6+ should really be added. Landscape mode for iPhones would be nice as well. 2. I would love if there was an option to remove the ads via an in-app purchase. They are very obtrusive, and Id gladly pay a few bucks to have them go away for good. 3. The functionality of the older "WRAL Weather Alert" app should be rolled into this one. Its a bit confusing to have two WRAL Weather apps, especially since both of them offer a lot of the same overlapping features. Hope these suggestions are helpful!

When location services is enabled I have a constant location services icon and it never goes away even with the app fully closed. Highly annoying.
